And now for…
The Majestic Adventures of Captain Sidewinder!
The large steam-powered robot goliath crunched closer to Captain Sidewinder, “I’ve got you cornered this time Sidewinder!”, laughed the evil madman Jeremiah Philmore inside his robotic suit of armor, which was clearly compensating for something. Thinking quickly Captain Sidewinder pulled out his trusty steam-powered pistol, loaded with his special bullets made of ice. “That puny gun? Your ice bullets will have no effect on my robot!”, snapped Philmore who was so sure Captain Sidewinder was powerless against him.
“Clearly you have forgotten just what steam does to ice Philmore! It melts it!”, Captain Sidewinder spoke with unwavering confidence as he fired right at the steam-powered core of the giant robot which was unsurprisingly a series of steam filled tubes. The ice bullets fired quickly turned into a stream of water. The machines main power supply suddenly cools and is unable to produce the required amount of steam to run the robot causing the giant metallic hulk to suddenly shut down, “That ought to cool your pipes Philmore! I’ll just let you stew inside your contraption until the proper authorities get here.”
Suddenly a rope drops down from the sky, and in a flash Captain Sidewinder grabs the cord and is pulled into the clouds above. “CURSES! Damn you Captain Sidewinder!” screamed Philmore, defeated yet again.
Back on his steam-powered zeppelin Captain Sidewinder finds his trusty servant Watley, a elderly butler who any true hero would be proud to have. Watley quickly tries to hand Captain Sidewinder a intriguing note ” I’ve got good news sir, your steam-powered carrier pigeon has returned with a message. Captain Sidewinder takes a step back, “Watley no! That note is covered in POISON!”. Watley takes a look at the note before his face begins to convulse horribly; Watley, clutching his chest in agony, slumps to the ground. Sidewinder takes a moment to mourn his trusty ally, and it was a truly heartfelt mourn, even the birds in the air around could feel how passionate Captain Sidewinder’s mournful moment was. In this moment of mourning Captain Sidewinder looked at the deathly note that was sent to him, “There is only one man who is dastardly enough to do something like this, the same man who has left my dear Victoria in a steam-powered iron lung!”
