My First Published Review – Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D

Yesterday, I got my first full video game review published. The review, which can be found here at Gamer Gaia, is a detailed review of The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D. It’s a long read with a lot of pictures, so I’m not going to repost it over here in full, since I wanted to keep this update brief.
That said, this is a pretty big milestone for me in my still short time in the video game journalism field. This might be a bad picture of it, but my name is up there, awww yeah.

Sweet dude. :) I didn’t know you were interested in journalism, but I think it’s a good fit. Is the gig with Gamer Gaia a regular one?
Yeah, it’s a regular gig now. I do mostly news so far, but occasionally features and reviews. I applied early in the summer when Gamer Gaia was very new, less than a month old. I actually used a couple of posts from the gaming class as my writing samples.
I won’t start to get paid for another month or so, but everything I write is earning me money for my first paycheck until then.
Oh yeah? Which ones? And what do you think makes the site different from other gaming sites?
